Vehicle Part Distribution Services – UK
The Company has 5 main operational centres in the UK.

The Head Office in Binley, Coventry, employs around 100 staff and is the principle technical services centre and specialised parts distribution point for home and export sales, “Carwood Defence” is based at Coventry supplying specialist defence and logistics fleet requirements for parts and maintenance. Coventry also has an electrical remanufacturing wing, vehicle diagnostic and repair workshop, plant and equipment workshop, accounts and administration offices.

Carwood Diesel Systems facility in Birmingham has approximately 90 employees and is one of the most advanced diesel fuel injection (DFI) remanufacturing centres in the world. It includes a Class 7 Clean Room to ISO 14644 standards for product assembly and a full vehicle diagnostic service unit.

Carwood Nottingham was opened following the relocation of the Newark factory in 2012, it is a world class turbocharger and rotating machine remanufacturing facility.

Carwood Rewind is in Yeovil, it is a specialised rotating electrical remanufacturing centre with a comprehensive coil rewinding capability covering a wide range of AC and DC motor or generator applications and provides the Carwood Group with a vertically integrated electrical machine remanufacturing capability.

Carwood Telford was opened in 2018 and has specialised engine remanufacturing and dynamometer test facilities along with rotating electrical and mechanical pump expertise.

Vehicle Part Distribution Services – Worldwide (Overseas)

With full international logistics capabilities, Carwood products such as diesel injectors and fuel pumps are traded in 49 countries around the Globe, including Australia and New Zealand. Associate overseas companies are based in Hong Kong and Shanghai. As well as providing support for Carwood Motor Units Ltd in sales, logistics and administration, they market, stock, and provide distribution and technical services for a diverse and complimentary range of products for the local Chinese and Asian market, successfully targeting the large shipyards as their prime customers.

Carwood Motor Units Ltd also has sales and distribution facilities based in Singapore for both the local market and neighbouring countries.

Our German business was set up in September 2007 and is based in Sennelager in the North West of the country. The operation provides parts warehousing and logistics primarily to support our DRS Defence customers in Germany.

A recent addition to the Carwood support network is in Tapa, Estonia. Similar to the German site, a warehouse with technical sales and distribution capability has been established to support UK and NATO forces in operational and exercise activities in the region.
