Carwood BDS is part of Carwood Motor Units limited and was established in 2010 following the closure of Deans & Peters Doors. Managed by staff with over 20 years experience in the PSV sector we are a wholly independent Automotive Powered door parts supplier, specialising in the PSV sector, supplying customers both in the UK and overseas. Our proposition was further strengthened in January 2017 by becoming sole agents for BCE.srl door components in the United Kingdom.

All of our products are fabricated to the highest quality and where possible sourced locally. All service work is carried out by Deans trained engineers.

Bus Brake Parts
Carwood has supplied bus brake parts since 1983, with significant business in the UK and overseas, supplying major operators including Singapore Bus Services and Kowloon Motor Bus Company in Hong Kong. We work in partnership with TMD Friction as export managers providing the sales, marketing and logistic function for the Hong Kong and Singapore region for the famous DON and Textar brand which today includes heavy duty disc pads for truck and bus applications. Our braking offer includes full added value services and engineering support for customers, backed up with the R&D resources in Germany to address issues including brake noise, drum or disc wear, safety and vehicle application suitability. These are valuable services at a time when our Customers overseas and at home are under pressure to reduce staff numbers and costs and to improve brake component life.
Our engineers also provide training at Customers workshops for their staff in both theory and practice. A series of training modules are available to cover elementary systems for workshop technicians through to the more complex needs of Customers senior engineering management. Engineering and training are provided for Partnership Customers during the period of the supply contract as part of the service and support package. We believe this to be a unique proposition and it has assisted our major braking Customers by improving workshop practices to extend component life, reduce costs and improve safety procedures.
