Direct Repair Scheme

Under contract for the Ministry of Defence, Carwood supplies military units based throughout the UK, Ireland, Germany and Estonia with essential parts through the Direct Repair Scheme (DRS). These products are held at point of need and remanufactured on demand within a 48 hour time frame. Aavailable to the Tri-services (Army, Navy and Air Force), they are controlled by our Head Office in Coventry and serviced by our satellite branches based around the UK and Europe. The DRS team includes a significant number of ex-service personnel that have experience in both the equipment platforms and the logistics protocols, this helps meet operational needs within the demanding time frame and maintain capability availability.

The products involved are often specialist or rare items that are remanufactured / supplied specially for the British forces to their own specification, items include:
