Fuel injection technician, Birmingham
We’re looking for an experienced inline technician to join our fast-growing fuel systems team, based in Birmingham
Roles and responsibilities: the successful candidate’s duties will include:
Component Assessment –
• Assess overall condition of unit.
• Strip unit in accordance Carwood work instructions.
• Clean unit in accordance Carwood work instructions.
Build –
• Receive unit and assess individual components to ensure they are fit for purpose.
• Complete job card with any additional BOM required.
• Build rotary, inline or common rail pumps in accordance with manufacturer instructions.
• Comply with clean room regulations at all times.
Test –
• Test injectors/pumps to OE specification.
Skills and experience:
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel) or willing to work towards.
• Knowledge of QHSE legislation.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
• Proven experience to work as part of a team.
• Displays a good attitude towards work, and the aims and objectives of the company.
• Knowledge or awareness of diesel systems, specifically inline fuel pump technology.
